Varsha Ojha

From creating timeless brand stories to seamlessly amplifying them across a wide spectrum of media, Ms. Varsha Ojha has 2 decades of experience in all things brand and marketing. A multi-disciplinary business and marketing leader, she currently heads Marketing and Communications at Shemaroo Entertainment managing a a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C brands across OTT, TV, Digital & Syndication.

She has been at the forefront of establishing Radio City and Mid-day as brands to reckon with by conceptualizing the brand positioning – 'Rag Rag Mein Daude City…FM Bole Toh Radio City' and 'Mid-day, Made in Mumbai.' During the pandemic, Varsha spearheaded a one-of-its-kind innovation in the print industry by launching the first-ever interactive digital tabloid for Mid Day reaching 10 cr readers. She was also the driving force for the first-ever, OTT awards for Radio City and MidDay - Hitlist Web awards, along with pioneering one-of-a-kind research in association with AC Nielsen - 'The Power of Radio.'

Skilled in creative breakthroughs, thought leadership, and campaign management, she believes in the power of creativity in every aspect of the business. From radio to print, social to performance, TV to OTT, Varsha has not only dabbled with all kinds of media but has spearheaded many award winning marketing campaigns during her stints with leading media houses such as Hindustan Times, Sony TV, Disney and Zoom TV.

Varsha is a prominent speaker and jury at industry forums, like Promax, Golden Mikes, IRF awards, Prime Time Awards, Digital Influencer awards etc. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Delhi University and completed her PGDBA from Mumbai University. In her personal time, she likes to travel, play tennis and table-tennis, practice yoga and sing with her 8-year-old.
