Biography

My fascination with digital and technologymade me an explorer, always looking for new digital and tech trends. I was particularly interested in how our lives were changing in the new paradigms created by the digital ecosystem.I originally studied economics, I've been a deliberate digital and technology professional. Many years back when STEMsaw less women, I decided to challenge it due to my passion and build my career in digital. In the zeal to move faster to understand everything that connected technology and consumers, I took up a management in IIMK. I stepped into digital marketing when it was very nascent, and every company wanted to do digital transformation. The road I travelled was adventurous with unexpected turn, huddle, failures, frustrations, and success.

A consumer centric digital marketing expert with over 20+ years of experience in creating and integrating omnichannel consumer journeys. Driving strategies across legacy, new, regulated and FMCG brands to accelerate brand awareness, increase consumer lifetime value and exponential sales uplifts. Industry experience encompassing technology, FMCG and Pharma. Managing diverse portfolios assignments stretching across Asia and Europe. I have spearheaded major digital transformation cross country, data integrations, digital analytics,business intelligence and digitalincubator projects.

Started my career as a freelancer digital consultant, digital consultant at IMS,worked for Sanofi as Head of Digital. I am currently Head of connections at Danone Indialeading media, influencer Marketing, CRM, integrated ecommerce, and service innovation. Part ofcore India Southeast Asia digital team working on strategic projectson service innovations, careline transformationand social commerce to drive business growth.

I am a believerof inclusivenessand strongly feel it starts at our homes. My husband was a great support in my journey and kept believing in me even when I wasn't at times. Personally, I do my bit as a mentor, helping young women go onwards and upwards. Professionally, along with the digital mandate I have taken up leadinginclusive diversityat Danonewhich helps me drive mindset and build inclusive culture.

When I am off my virtual world, I love chit-chats with my daughters, OTT, listening tomusic, workout, foodtrails with my husband, fashion, my pets and reading.

Something I learned a hard way that helped me to maintain a balancebetween family and driveexcellence, chase ambitious business goals was to not strive for perfection, not to fall for the supermom, superwoman syndrome and loving yourself.
