'Growth marketing professional with extensive experience in developing consumer insights' driven campaigns across different platforms to drive engagement, build brand, acquire new users and generates sales. One of the few early marketers to implement MarTech solutions to feed in relevant data across consumer journeys for better campaign performance. He has also worked as a Product Manager, where he worked in driving business innovation, strategy, growth & operational efficiency using design thinking, business thinking and all-round digital experience.
Vakul is currently heading Digital Marketing at Grofers and is responsible of key business objectives (user acquisition, revenue generation and user retention). He was also instrumental in launching Smart Bachat Club, the largest subscribed online grocery loyalty program in India.
Vakul has previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and American Express. He received his Bachelor' degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.'
